So what is CFDA??
This is what is calld the Council of Fashion Designers of America.
I believe every model will know this association!!
According to the official hompage of the CFDA (http://www.cfda.com/),
"The Council of Fashion Designers of America, Inc. (CFDA) is a not-for-profit trade association of over 280 of America’s foremost fashion and accessory designers. " They "promote appreciation of the fashion arts through leadership in quality and aesthetic discernment".
However, this well known association put a stop to some models.
In mid-January, the CFDA announced that there are too many dangerously thin models.
However, this announcement may not be enough to protect models who are having trouble with eating disorders.
Some health experts are now trying to make new guidlines for this issue.
